The hiker will shorten the longest fourth stage by splitting it into two parts (4-02). The second part starts at the Mrzl'k Mountain Hut and continues through the Idrija Hills in a west/northwest direction. The path winds gently past Kaludrov Hill and Bevk's Peak and heads towards Kladje. It doesn't take much more effort to reach the Ermanovec Mountain Hut (968 m). The second part of the fourth stage of the Loka Trail is considered moderately difficult, requiring a reasonable level of fitness and
acclimatization from the hiker.
