Križna Gora–Škofja Loka
Križna Gora–Praprotno–Sv. Tomaž–Lubnik–Škofja Loka
The interesting stage 12 of the Loka Trail flirts with the urban, but runs along a distant and well-set-up hiking trail right next to Škofja Loka. Hikers first go down from the ridge to the valley through Praprotno village to the church of St Thomas (Sveti Tomaž). The trail continues under the slopes of mount Lubnik on a quite steep path up to the mountain peak. The Lubnik lodge (1025m) offers a view of the plains of Gorenjska region. The trail returns to the valley along a beautiful ridge that turns left and right quite a few times. The path arrives in the town of Škofja Loka in the valley and this is the finish of the last stage of our Loka Trail.
